Happy Christmas !!
Hi, everyone !!
Today, I am not here to talk about life and death and everything in between. Today I am just here for one reason; to say thank you to all of you !!!!
For everyone who has ever taken the time to read something I had to say, who has ever written back with words of encouragement, who has ever taken the time to write another person who sits in this place. It all means a lot, with my whole heart, I thank you.
You guys, have helped me survive, you have given me hope, you have brightened my days in more ways than you will ever know. There have been days when I felt what I was doing was useless…. That who I am was worthless, but one of you…. All of you have made Tyra believe in himself and what he does. I was put on the backs of 2,000 plus people and carried until I was able to carry myself. You all have given me the gift of life, and that is something that no amount of time can diminish. I walk with the pride of a man who truly knows what he stands for. Again, I THANK YOU WHOLE HEARTEDLY !!!!
It is my realest hope that this little « open letter » reaches you before Christmas. I just want you to know how much you are valued and appreciated !!! I am not in a position to give much, but I hope that you know I would give you the world if I could, each one of you… to my way of thinking, it is only right, because it is what you have given to me. No doubt, I am the luckiest man alive, that stands true because of you !!! Once more ---THANK YOU ALL !!!
Lastly, I want to thank my wife who makes everything I do possible… « TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN », my facebook… everything, she makes it possible. Julia Bailey is my secretary, my best friend, my counselor, my biggest fan, my number one supporter, and my hardest critic. She speaks when I need her to, she is silent when I need that as well, and she pushes me constantly when I do not meet her expectations… she demands more when I wish for rest ! No matter how bad things have gotten, she has never complained, she only found a way to love me more. INCREDIBLE !!! She is one in a million !!!I thank you for loving me wife, most days it is more than I deserve.
No one is perfect, I know, but I wish I was. If for no other reason than I want to be the best Tyra can be for each person who listens to him… who cares about him. But you have my word, I will always strive to be better with each day that passes. Life is a dream… enjoy it !!! Okay, last time---THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH !!!
