To the Innocence Project in Houston and anyone else interested in justice

After 15 years of dealing with our justice system I have finally come to realize that there is no such thing here in Texas.. First off my own son was wrongfully arrested for Capital murder and freed after serving nearly a year in Harris County jail with him telling them who the actual murderers were. When he was finally released I became interested in seeing just how many more people have been wrongfully convicted.. Believe me when I say I was astonished to find so many and some of them have already been executed..

But now I’m speaking of something other than murder.. Rape.. My own daughter was raped at gun point and wrapped in barb wire when she 14..The man was 24..He left her In a field naked and probably hoping she would die as he was already on parole...But this man was a white man....And he only received 6 years imprisonment

Now I’ve met and been corresponding with a young man that was given 1099 years for supposedly raping a minor.. Of course this young man happens to be black.

The girl retracted her statement as she said the CPS more or less forced her to say what they wanted to hear.

I believe with all my heart and soul that this young man is innocent…. And there he sits doing over 1000 years in Polunsky Unit, Livingston. Tx. For something he swears he didn’t’ do..And I truly believe him. Even so.. Isn’t over a 1000 years a little stiff.. Of course again.. He is a Black man in Texas.
