The campaign is doing a pen-palling project in which we
communicate with prisoners in New York who have Life
Without Parole (LWOP)- there is currently no death penalty
in New York (thank the heavens) but it is still very
traumatic to be incarcerated with no chance of ever being
released. Some of these prisoners receive no visits from
family, friends, or ANYONE. It's important that we reach
out and let them know that there are people who are
organizing and supporting the movement to end the death
penalty! Please email me if you are interested in having a
pen-pal and I will send you a contact. Not only can you
touch someone in a positive way, they can also have a
positive impact on you. It only takes a small amount of
time to write a letter so I hope you invest in this great
opportunity.
